While expecting our 2nd child we suffered a premature rupture of membranes at 23 weeks which put our baby’s life in danger. We beat the odds and survived 7 weeks of hospital bed rest, then came frighteningly close to losing our baby when the umbilical cord prolapsed, but an emergency c-section saved her life.
